Landis Has Opponent.

Harry C. Sheridan, of Frank fort, has announced himself as a candidate for congress in the Ninth district, subject to the decision of the republican nominating convention. It is his purpose to make an active campaign of the district prior to the convention. Mr. Sheridan served two years as clerk of his home city, declining re-elec-tion, and for the last six years he has been county attorney. While a personal friend of Charles B. Lan dis, present congressman, and supporting him in all of his campaigns. Sheridan thinks the time has come for a change, especially a change to him.
