CULP REUNION

The second annual Culp Reunion was held at the home of J. T. Culp near Pleasant Grove, Thursday, September sth. * By the noon hdur, relatives and friends to the number of one hundred and ten, all declaring their names to be Culp, had arrived and all got a place at the table, which was well filled with cake, fried chicken and everything to tempt the appetite. After the disposal of a great amount of the dinner, the afternoon was spent in general conversation, music and games. The most interesting feature was getting a picture of the entire crowd.

Those who attended from a distance were: Will Culp, wife and son, Mr. and Mrs. Coey, Franoesville, Ind.; George Long and Mrs. Janie Rishling, Monon; W. A. Neill, Harvey, Ill.; Mrs. J. W. McConahy and daughter, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Alley Rusk, Francesville; Mrs. E. J. Saxe, Columbus, Ohio; Frank Randle and wife, Clarks Hill Ind.; Mrs. E. J. Tea, Battle Ground, Ind.; Mrs. Fannie Showalter, Lafayette, Ind.; Mrs. S. O. Wright, Boswell, Ind.; W. Walters Battle Ground. Ind. This reunion was certainly an enjoyable affair, and all did their best to entertain and encourage all to come back and help the Culps celebrate the first Thursday in September, 1908. Long live the name of Culp.
