A Good Show.
A fair-sized audience witnessed “Toyland,” a pretty little musical farce, at the opera house Saturday night, and fbaiidi the play of a better class than usually gets into cities the size of Rensselaer. There were twenty-one people in the Cast and the lively songs, frequent coa tnme changes and genteel comedy filled the evening with mirth for all present Among the performers wes a petite little Hiss bathed Agusta Bell, who had the leading roll, imitating a mechanical doll. Her style was veiy pleasing and Aron the generous applatise of the audience. The ownership of thta “Toyland” company was transferred Saturday to the Pilgrim More lock Co., of Chicago, And three or four of the hew owners Were here to see the play. They are ipaking a few changes in the cast and sending ont an orchestra with it for the opOding at Athdison, Wis , tonight. They had reen the work of Miss Bell on one Or two prior occasions and it was their confidence in and admiration of her that largely caused them to gtorohase the pl*y. They proclaim her one of the best possibilities among the yonng soubrettcs now on the stage and her beauty and clevernesA will oertainly go far toward whining much popularity for her.
