the citm 6cm - Bakery and Confectionery ice Cream Parlor •. : ■ l \ ■ CIME used to be that every dealer made his ..own Ice Cream. Of recent years almost all dealers have had it shipjred in to them, and they are ignorant of the-ingredients used and the methods of its manufacture. Cream is cheaper in the small town than it is in the city, and it .is therefore more expensive to manufacture in the city, and add to this the I manufacturer's profit and express charges, and if the Ice cream is sold at the same price the local manufacturer sells it tor, ’ i there is a cheapening of the ingredients.— The “Little Gem” uses pure crearti, separated by local dairymen —you know the product is pure and tree from the - cheapening processes employed by the manufacturers in the big cities. Our gasoline engine makes it possible to freeze ten gallons of cream in eight minutes. Orders delivered to Any part of the city Try it and you will agree that the Little Gem Ice Cream is the best ever .-.old in Rensselaer. One thing nice about tradition Is that no one cares whether It Is true or not Brevity la to be commended, but It la hard to be civil with a plain “yea” or “no.” No one seems to have as hard a time earning money as the woman who marries for It When a man begins his questions by an admission of ignorance, you can tell he Is “laying” for you. The man of artistic temperament sees great beauty In a woman’s soul If she looks all right in other particulars. A fine thing would be ability to maintain the temporary enthusiasm of a man when it first dawns upon him that he needs exercise. The corset affords men What satisfaction they can get out of the belief that women are not as cool In warm weather as they look. What has become of the old-fash-ioned woman who prepared for a company supper cold sliced ham, floating Island and marble cdße?
