Death Of Former Resident.
Harry Nichols, who spent all his earlier years lin this county, died last Wednesday; August 28th, at his home in Denver, Colorado, at the age of about 66 years. He went west about 40 years ago, living in several different states, and accumulating qujte a large estate In mercantile business. He finally located in Denver and built him a fine rggidence in that city, and retired frolb business. He leaves no descendants, as his only child, a daughter, died a number of years ago, leaving a husband but no children. This son-in-law survives him and he also leaves a widow. He also leaves three brothers and two sisters, the brothers being John L. Nichols, now at Dixon, 8. Dak., Solomon, of near Denver, Colo, and Samuel R., of Rens selaer and present county treasurer of Jasper county. The sisters are Mrs. Elizabeth Brown of Rensselaer, and Mrs Wm. Potts, of Barkley Tp.
