Gifford Farms Going Fast.

Wolcott Enterprise: Jake Pittsley bought a farm of Benj. J. Gifford near Newland several miles north of McCoysburg, paying therefore S7O per acre. The place comprises 130 acres and is known to those acquainted with that part of |Jasper county as the “Rabbit Island Farm.” Jake is of the opinion that he 'secured a great bargain and considers the land just as good as any Wolcott farm lands for which SIOO to $126 per acre is being asked and where rents are high. Mr. Gifford is rapidly disposing of his lands and to the present time has sold about 6,600 acres. This is done by the advise of his physician who believes the worry and Concern of superintendent so much real estate is detrimental to the owner’s health by reason of his advanced age.
