District Convention.

The Christian Churches of the second district composed of Jasper, Newton, Pulaski and Starke counties will hold their annual con vention in the Christian church in Rensselaer on Wednesday and Thursday Sept. 4th and 6th. ThO first session will beginn at 1:30 on Wednesday. Ministers and dele gates from the various churches of the district are expected to be present. C. J. Sharp of Hammond and 1 O. Rose of Indianapolis, the state corresponding secretary will speak on Wednesday evening -T. J. Legg the state evangelist will speak on Thursday evening. The public is invited to attend this convention especially the evening sessions.
