Tattick Smith is quite ill at this writing. Lewis Grube called on his intended last Sunday. Will Hodge called at the Frances home last Sunday. We hear that severaLof our young men are very talented musicians. Henry and Minnie Karch yisited at the Shepherd home Sunday. Several of our teachers left Monday to attend Institute at Rensselaer. Joe Shepherd from Joliet, 111., is visiting at the home of W. 11. Shepherd. Quite a number of our people attended the circus at Rensselaer last Friday good time. Several friends of Edith sVinrich gathered at her home and celebrated her birthday anniversary last Sunday. Mrs. Carrie McLean of Kankakee, 111., returned home Wednesday after a few days visit with Trustee Karch and family.
