Ernest Tillman, teacher of biology in our high school received, an offer jes L erdayof a position at Harvey, 111., at SIOO a month, which is $25 more than he gets here. He declined the offer however, considering it too late te leave the school hoard here without a biology teacher. He is very proficient in his lines and is sura to leave us for a much bigger salary next year. His refusal to leave leaves our schools with a full force of teachers foi opening day next Monday, and unless Dan Cupid, whom no one can withstand, makes an unexpected raid among the yonng lady teachers, no further vacancieeare at all likely to occur.
