Wots the Natter With Rensselaer Boy?’

“Ees all right.” Judge Hanley's little trottinghorse Rensselaer Boy, started in his'first race at Crown Point Thursday, witn the Judge himself holding the ribbons, and it was also the Judge’s first stunt as driver in a horse race. The horse and driver both showed up well and got second place in the first heat and first place in the second heat, and second place in the third heat, and then seemed right in line for second money sure and probably first Calamity overtook them in the fourth heat however, as just at the start a bunch of horses got jammed together and Judge and horse went down all in a heap. When they gathered themselves up there were gteat holes in the judicial dignity and quite a number in the judicial pants, the judicial seat thereof being entirely missing. He also got some welts and braises. -In spite of this misfortune,'horse and Judge came up smiling for the fifti heat in wnich they got third place, and also third money in the race. It is a right good little horse and the Judge is a good driver. The best time he made was 2 ;28. There was a large and enthusiastic bunch from Rensselaer' to holler for the Judge’s horse, and this they did so persistently and heartily that the yell “Wots the matter with Rens selaer Boys Ee’s all right!” was taken up and repeated by tbe whole crowd.
