A. M. Bringle is having his house enlarged and remodeled. Mrs. Clara James of Independence, Ind., is visiting Mrs. Cottingham this week. John Hickey is laid up at the Cotten house with a bullet hole thru his leg, inflicted by an unknown hand. Mrs. Shehan and children of Lafayette are visiting here and at LaCrosse. Mrs. Kight has returned from a visit to Canada and Niagara Falls. A Chicago minister preached in the Christian church Sunday. Flossie and Ruth Gundy started today on a visit to relatives in LaCrosse and Wheatfield. and wife have returned from a week's vjsjt with their daughter Mrs. Dick of Remington. Mrs. Halleck with her mother and children ■re spending this week at Lake V illage. Mrs. Alice Erwitf was called to Pennsylvania Monday, on account of thejillress of MisDr. Prowdly.
