LETTER FROM W. H. COOVER.

[Continued from First Page.] with these frauds thru a careful investigation resigned from congress but Teller and the immaculate Lindsey hung on. I mention this bit of history simply to show Lindsey’s hypocracy as a reformer. After a long and hotly contested fight, fifty or more of these election crooks who put Lindsey in his official position, were landed in jail by the Supreme Court, and this broke up this gang of professional election thieves, since which time two elections have been held -in Denver without fraud. Judge Lindsey as Burned authority to conduct! a legal investigation of one of these elec tions, and for weeks examined ballots and witnesses in his efforts to fasten fraud on his political enemies, only to make a total and inglorious failure of it. Much more could be truthfully written to show the insincerity of Judge Lindsey, but I forbear. A word as to Senator Guggenheim’s election which Lindsey says was fraudulent etc. During the campaign Patterson & Lindsey denounced Guggenheim all over the state and yet the people elected a legislature with 40 Republican majority. If there had been truth in their charges surely the people would have elected a democratic legislature instead. There 'was reason to buy votes as has been charged by the Judge since Xthe election. The people elected Gug-‘ genheim. He is a successful’’business man, clean, moral, pubiicspirited and patriotic. His (only crime is that he is rich and an Israelite end that the people of Colorado preferred himjto Senator
