Correcting His Geography.

In the absence of the information editor, who was away on his vacation, this question was referred to the manager of the country circulation department: “Who wrote -‘How Big Was Alexander, Pa?’ ” “I don’t know,” he said; “but whoever did it was away off in his geography. There’s an Alexander in Illinois, one in lowa, one in Kansas, others in Maine, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, and Wyoming, but if there’s an Alexander in Pennsylvania, by George, it isn’t in the postoffice directory.”
