The Chicago Union Giants, ths same colored ball team that played Wheatfield here in July, will return to Rensselaer on Aug. 31st, to meet the Lowell team, and the game will be played at Riverside Athlectic Park. Manager Lewis Wood, of the Lowell team, writes that his organ! • zation has been considerably strengthened and that Min* Irwin, the best amateur pitcher in northern Indiana, will be in the box. He thinks they should give the Giants a fast game.
