Some Old Relics.
While the big sewer ditcher was coming up Main street, last Thursday, with an excavation 10 feet deep and three feet wide, it plowed thru a corduroy road for quite a distance which was made of oak timber and was about three feet from the surface. It was just north of the “Beaver” ditch, and we have people living here still who saw the road made which was in a marsh at that time. The timber seemed well preserved and was put in about 62 years ago. —Crown Point Star.
