Miss Rebecca Smith's Will.

The late Aunt Rebecca Smith, of Barkley, was the owner of a good farm in that township, of about 120 or 130-acres,-being, -some of the very best land in the township, tho not the most valuable because not very well impioved. It is Ind that her father took up iu the earliest days of the settlement ot Jasper county and has been iu the family ever since, being nearly all that is left of 640 acres they once owned. She left a will, made in 1904 iu which she disposes of all her estate. To her sister,-Sarah V. Smith, who survive her, she wills a life estate in the entire property. After Sarah’s dtedth, it all goes to James Newcoine the brether-in law who lives on Jthe place but whose wife is dfcad, also' as a iife estate only. After MrlNewcorae’s death it was to go to three' of the next generation, natotely John Newcome, Marrena J. Tudor and Walter L. Smith, to be their property absolutely. In case of VV alter’s death without i sue it was all to go to the otter two.
