Funeral of Mrs. Eliza Foster Marlow.

The funeral of Mrs. Eliza Foster Marlow was conducted Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at the North Star church in Newton county by Rev. H. L. Kindig, and interment was made in North Star cemetery. Mrs. Marlow had died at her home near Mt. Ayr on Thursday, Aug. Bth, tie cause of death being giyen as an obstruction of the gall duct. She was oorn in Warren county, Ind., Feb. 13, 1850, and was 57 years, 5 mouths and 23 days old. She was the oldest of eleven children, and is survived by her mother, one sister and tour brothers. She was married at the age of 23 to John C. Marlow, at Williamsport, Ind., and is survived by the husband aud ten of the twelve children born to them. She had been a member of the M. E. church since 15 years of age, and had been a member of the Rebekah lodge at Battle Ground for the past 16 years. Her last sickness was very brief and very painful, but she bore her suffering with great fortitude. Many members of the family were at her bedside when she died.
