Death at the County Farm.

Mrs. Martha Avis, the young woman Whose sickness has been mentioned several times before, died Sunday morning at 8:30 o’clock at the county farm, where she bad been cared for since February 10th. She was 24 years of age on March 13th,' and had been an invalid for a long time from tuberen osis. She is survived by ner mother and three sisters residing near Danville, bnt they were not able to care lor her. When brought here about six months ago she was almost bedfast, and her death had been expected for some time. Mrs. Avis was deserted by her husband several months ago. It is understood he is now in Dunsmirk, Cal. The ODly child born to them is a boy now five years old, find was adopted by a family near Danville. Superintendent Nichols of the county farm accompanied the remains io San Pierre ou Monday morning, where relatives will have the funeral and burial.
