A Quiet Morning Wedding.

A quiet bat very auspicious marriage took place in town at nine o’clock last Tuesday morning, August 6th at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. 8. Bates, on Clark street T e parties were their daughter, Miss Lessie Bates, the well know teacher in the primary department of the Bensselaer public schools, and Mr. Albert L. Bouk, now oi Norwich, North Dakota, but all his life a resident Walker township and also a successful school teacher, and for some years past township trustee in his township. The ceremony was performed by Rev. G. H. Clarke, pastor of the Bensselaer Christian church, and in the presence only of the immediate members of Mr. Bates family. The newly married couple took the 9:55 a. m. train for Chicago and proceeded at | once to the groom’s home in North Dakota, where he has been for some weeks past, and where he owns a good farm.
