Barkley M. E. Conference

The quarterly meeting of the Barkley M. B. church will be held next Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 3rd and 4th. The quarterly con ference will be held at 2:30 Saturday, and the Presiding Elder, Dr. Wood, will preach at 7:30 that evening. At 10 Sunday morning occurs the Sunday School and at 11 a. m. Dr. Wood will conduct the communion service. «v. Ballard’s vacation will begin Monday, and he will go to Bockville, where Mrs. Ballard has been visiting her parents since leaving the deaconess hospital at Indianapolis, where she was operated on several weeks ago. They will return home together in about two weeks.
