DEATH OF A FORMER RESIDENT
The following from the Goshen Democrat of July 29th, concerns a young man formerly residing in Rensselaer and vicinity for a number of yea.s:, Frank Brinley, for some time head lineman at the local office of the Bell Telephone company died at the age 28 years at 6:30 o’clock last evening at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Brinley, one and a half miles east Bristol. He bad been siek for nearly a year with tubercular trouble and had been confined to bis bed for the past two months. Some time ago, he severed his connection with the local telephone exchange and i utended *to go to the southwest in hope oi benefiting his health, but instead was taken to the home of his father where he died. The deceased was a well known and very popular young man and was considered an expert telephone mechanic and an excellent musician. His death is surrounded by sad circumstances. The decease is survived by his parents, one sister and three brothers. Mr. Brit ley was a member of the Egles of South Bend, the Electrical workers Union of Elkhart and the Musician’s Union of South Bend. The funeral services will be held at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church in Bristol, aud the interment will be made in a cemetery hear Bristol.
