An Insane Man From Brook.
Fred Ellis, an insane man, was brought over from Newton county Tuesday to be held in our jail until there is room for him at Longcliff asylum. He lives in Brook, and was declared insane last October, bnt loom being scarce at the asylam and his case being mild, he has been at large ever since. He has lately taken to going around with a big knife and otherwise acting in a dangerous manner, and it was thought best to place him in confinement. He was brought over by Clerk Renben Hess and Deputy Bheriff James White, of Newton county, accompanied by J. U. Wildasin, a former deputy sheriff, and David Unger, of Hanover, Pa , who is a visitor and came along to see the country. . They came in a big automobile.
