Wants $50,000 For Being Scared.
i Mrs. Mary McAvoy, of Tolle ton who charges that through negligence of the Pittsburg, For Wayne G Chicago railway she is a cripple for life, filed suit tor $50,000 damages Saturday at Hammond. Mr. McAvoy says that in crossing the track at Tolleston Jan. 19 she so narrowly escaped being run over by a train ttaij, her hair turned white and she was permanently paralyzed from fright. She avers tnat the gates were up and that oars obstructed her view. She says her hair turned snowy white in a single night.
