All Maccabees May Be United.
1 The Supreme Tent of the Knights of the Maccabees ol the World finished its eleventh and last triennial review in Detroit, Satur-day—-the last because hereafter the Supreme Tent will meet bnt once in four years. This was one of several changes made at the close of the meeting. One of the most important qnes tious taken up Friday, was the passing of a resolution which empowers the trustees, provided they deem it necessary, to remove the headquarters of the order from Port Hurou to Detroit, and to erect a temple in Detroit, not to exceed $200,000. The resolution requesting; that negotiation'* be opened with the Knights of the Modern Maecab&S and other Macfcabet* ofdere looking to a mammoth merger into one great body, was passed. Men familiar with Maccabee affairs iu general, predict that this move will surely result in a consolidation. The establishment of a junior Macabee order to be known as the Maccabee Cadets and composed of sons ot members between the ages 12 and 18 years, received final approval Saturday. It is planned to organize cadet corps in all parts of the country. The boys will be uniformed. Details or the organization will be worked out by the board of trustees as soon as possible, for it is desirable to have the boys get into shape at the earliest possible date.
