Mr. Frank Rich and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rich of Brook, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rich of New Waver-' ly, Ind., attended the fnneral of their brother Walter’s baby here Wednesday. Mr. Jacob Kneadler an old soldier was very badly hurt Thursday of last week while out riding with his brother-in-law Mr. Robert Bowers. Bowers horses became frightened at an automobile and
Mr. Kneadler thinking he might quiet them got out and took the horses by the bits when they began to plunge striking him and dragging him along the road. Soon as Mr. Bowers could stop Jhis horses Mr. Kneadler was brought back to] town and Dr’s. Besser Idndon and Rainier dressed his wounds. Mr. Bowers does not blame the automobilistjas she topped the machine and* rendered all the assistance he could. Miss Elanore Coover and Mr. John Zimmerman of Kentland were married last week.
