Knox Republican: The Tenth district modestly intimates that it would be willing, yea even much pleased, to furnish the next governor. No doubt of it at all. When the time comes that elongated strip of western Indiana, stretching from Lake Michigan to the Prophet’s Rock cannot furnish all the candidates required by the po litical parties in the state it will be time to call for anew gerrymander. Politics is a live topic in the Tenth from the kindergarden to the tomb. Neither infancy nor age constitutes a bar against office-holding, and the candidate walks hand in hand with the seasons.
