Corner Stone Laying At Medaryville

Sunday, July 14 was a great day with the Methodist people at Medaryville. It was marked by the laying of the corner stone of the new Methodist Episcopal church, now in process of erection. The day was perfect for the occasion—cool, clouded but with no show of storm. Fully four hundred and fifty people gathered at the special service at 3:30 p. m. and listened to the splendid address given by Rev. Henry L. Davis of Valparaiso who officiated in the corner stone laying and spoke on the theme “The Building of a Life—Four Square to the World.” Everyone was pleased with the progress of the new church which will be an honor to the town when finished. Rev. Will B. Warriner is pastor.— Winamac Republican.
