An Auto Path Finder.

Sidney J. King, a representative of the American Good Roads Association, arrived in Monticello last Friday, coming thru from Knox by way of Winamac in an auto. Mr. King’s object in traveling over the country is to spy out good roads and map out new routes for auto" mobilists in their travels over the country. On this particular trip he was looking out a new route into Chicago from Indianapolis, Cincinnati and other points to the southeast, with short side trips for pleasure. Mr. King stopped over Sunday in Monticello and on Monday departed for Lafayette and thence to Kokomo where he expected to join the Glidden tourists, and go with them to Indianapolis and thence to Columbus. It is his purpose to endeavor to establish a regular route from the south and east thru Monticello, Remington, Rensselaer and thence to Chicago.—Monticello Den ocrat.
