—-The farmeTS have-begun-harvest-ing their wheat. Amos Alter has purchased a new Deering binder. Mr. Earl Crasier of Ft. Wayne has returned home. John E Alter, ex-county surveyor is kept very busy making some ditch surveys. Mr. George Peters is spending his vacation here, he will go from here to Monticello. There will be an ice cream social at the Rose Bud church s Thursday evening July 18. —Master MeColly, the son of Ben MeColly of Chicago Heights is visiting at the home of John Alter. Your Correspondent omitted the names of Fanny and Henry Wilson who assisted in the management the children’s day service at Rose Bud. Amos Alter, an up-to-date farmer, has placed a nice bulletin board on his premises on which appears an announcement of what he has to sell, [_ and also what he wants. ■ v~~ ~
