LOST THEIR ONLY CHILD
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Short, quite commonly known as Reed, came down from Chicago on the milk train Monday evening, bringing for bn rial the’body vs their 17 months old girl baby, Miriam Adeline, whose death occurtd Sun day, at their home in that city. The cause of its death wis tubercular mennengitis, and this itself re suited from a long and almost fatal attack^of scarlet fever the child had here about a year ago, and at which time their other and older child, a boy died from the disease. Burial services were held at nine o’clock on, Tuesday morning, by Rev. H. L. Kindig, at the home of Mr. Short’s step mother, Mrs, Henry Reed, on Front street, and interment made in Weston cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. i Reed were accompanied from Chicago by her mother Mrs. Susie Lister and daughter Miss Bessie Lister. The entire party returned to Chicago on the 3:30 p. m. train that afternoon.
