Two Convicts Are Killed.
, A double tragedy occurred at the state prison at Michigan City Wednesday. Peter Ryan, aged 41 sentenced from St. Joseph county in 1888 for murder, and George Dolan, aged 33, from Lawrence county for grand larceny fell 50 feet from a scaffold while whitewashing the north cell house and wer,e instimly killed. A convict named Hall, who was working with them, had a narrow escape, striking on one of the cell ranges and thus saving his life.
