Notes of Current Events.
The Infant son of Walter Price died near Mangum, O. T., as a result of Injuries from being canght under a disc harrow. Tbs first bale of new cotton to arrive at New York was sold at auction in front of the Cotton Exchange. Tbe price was 40 cents per pound. Mrs. Knob and her 5-monlhs-old babe were thrown from a baggy In a tuns way at Btillwater, O. T., and the infant s hand was so badly crushed tbst death followed.
