An Old Letter.

Mrs. J C. Barnett, of Lafayette, has in her possession a letter written in 1821 by J hn Qnlncy Adams then secretary of state, to Jonathan Jennings, governor of Indiana, at Corydon, which was then the state capital. It referred to the sending of copies of the United States laws to Indiana officials and the signature, tho written in ink eightysix years ago, is still as legible as < n the day it was written.
