FIRE ALARM BUT NO FIRE
A maten dropped in a vessel containing gasoline and water, at the home of Ed Kays, north of the railroad on | Thursday morning, cant ed a flash that had the early appearance of cansing trouble and an alarm of fire was telephoned in to the central office. Altho word was dispatched at almost the same time that the fire was oat, it did not reach the engine house in time to head off the lightening movement of the fire company and Joe Jackson’s bos team. No damage resalted at the Kays home, the fire beiDg couflned to the basin holding the gasoline.
