Now Weighing All Mails.

- The weighing of all outgoing mails, by classes, began in all postoffices the first of the month and will continue until the first of next year. The department is taking this way to find out the actual amount of mail matter hanled by the railroads. The werk of Weighing all the out going mail is quite a task on the posioffioe employes and and also impairs the efficiency of the mail service. Hereafter „it will be necessary for mail intended for dispatch to be in the postoffice fully one half hour before the de parture of the pouch for the train.
