Lawn Tennis on the Side.

Drs. Sargent and Howell, of Chalmers, were here for the Fourth and played three lawn tennis sets with Dr. Washburn and Wood Spitler, the result being as follows: Sargent and Howell won the first set by 9-7; Washburn and Spitler won the next two, 6-1 and 6 0. It is probable Dr. Sargent and John Kassabanm will shortly arrange to play here with Dr. Washbum and some other local player, and some other preliminary games may also be arranged for.
