The Bank Habit.
Elbert Hnbbard, the talented editor of the Philistine, has a habit of saying things that canse people to think. The following regarding the man with “The Bank Habit” is well worth reading and remembering: “I have been a wage earner, foreman and employer. 1 have a thousand men on my pay roll at a time) and I’ll tell you this: The man with the Bank Habit is the one who never gets laid off; he’s the one who can get along withodt you, bnt you can not get along without him. The Bank Habit means sound sleep, good digestion, cool judgment, and manly independence. The most healthful thing I know o t is a Bank Book. There are no microbes in it to steal away your peace of mind. It is a guarantee of good behavior.”
