Expect Trouble Over School Books.
There is going to be trouble over the handling of School books next Under the new law pas sed by tbe ,last general assembly the handling of school books under the Contract system—the books used in the grades—are to be handled by a dealer, instead of by county superintendent and trustees. The dealer is to get 15 per cent lor the handling. The county school authorities never got more than 10 per cent and on large quantities got no hing at all. The price of the books remain the same. Hence the school companies under the new law will average about 14 per cent less on their sales than before; at least 10 per cent less on their next profits.
