Plenty of Scores:

A total of 47 scores was made in two ball games played here Saturday and Sunday, Parr defeating Pleasant Ridj> e Saturday by the score of 16 to 11 and Francesville winning Sunday by 13 to 7. Of course, neither game was quite up to professional measurement but what was lacked m skill was offset by enthusiastic rivalry, and especially in the Saturday game was the contest for blood, for it was not only to establish the championship of Union and Hanging Grove Tps., but was for 75 per cent of the gate receipts. Parr looked like a real ball team in their new red suits and c utplayed their rivals in most points of the game. Fraacesville-played a loose'game with Rensselaer, but Rensselaer played looser still and the visitors started ont with six runs in the Ist inning and were never headed. Score 13 to 7.
