Celebrate your fourth at Kmman the best place in northern part of county. Miss Ella Osborn and son Charles returned home Monday after a few days visit with relatives in the city. The Mt Ayr Band will furnish the music for Kniman the 4th. Mika] Kalb has sold )iis farm here, to William Hoppe of Chicago. Mr. Kalb will ocuppy Mr. G. F. Meyer’s farm for the rest of the season. The quarterly services were fairly well attended at the M. E. church Friday afternoon and evening. An excursion will be run from Goodland to Kniman and from LaCrosse to Kniman July fourth. L, A. Sayers arid family of DeMotte are staying with William Hanleys’ this week. The party at David Peers Saturday was well attended and all enjoyed a good time. Ayr will with unanimity celebrate at Kniman. Kniman greatly appreciates the kindness of this act. Mrs. William Barker and daughter made trip to Lake Village Tuesday. ’ Miss Mollie Gutherlie accompanied by Mr. Hilderbrand of the city ball teams is visiting friends at Kniman this week. H. B. Brown made a trip over the branch line Monday soliciting for train service the fourth to Kniman. J ulius Laine is preparing to make a visit to Austria his old home.
