CITY COUNCIL MONDAY NIGHT
Resolution for Rutsen street side walk adopted. Also tor Cullen street, as advertised. Specifications and plans adopted for Division and Main street improvement, and clerk instructed to give notice of special meeting Of council on July Ist to receive bids. Council voted to buy 300 feet of 6 inch tile to be put in by Firman Rutherford on College road, along lote bought by Rutherford on College road, along lots bought by Rutherford, making connection with other tile outlet, and providing for catch basins. City Engineer instructed to locate coiners of Milroy park. Eliza E. Timmons filed petition for side walk on east side block 11, Western addition, between Park and Oak streets. Voted to grant and clerk instructed to prepare resolution. _ Cullen and Forest and College and Vine street street sewers, contract awarded to J. C. Thrawls and W. F. Osborne. Light Plant Superintendent Instructed to make an estimate of the amount of coal hauled by the city team since the city purchased the team and report to council. This is done in order to charge the light plant fund with the hauling and credit it to road fund. Clerk instructed to present bill to school trustees for balance for heating school house past year, at rate of SBOO per year. Street committee approved by Council in purchase of car load of, crushed rock of W. F. Smith, fdF street repairs. Various claims allowed. Just received, another car of fancy Wisconsin potatoes, 80 cents a bushel, at John Eger’s.
