Shocked By Lightening.

Mrs. Mollie Ward Butler had a narrow escape from death by lightning during the thunder storm Tuesday afternoon. She was out feeding her chickens when she.'was struck down by the shock. Eight of the chickens around her were killed. A man who is employed about the place was knocked down. He soon regained his feet and on reaching Mrs. Butler found her unconscious. She was carried into the house an d Dr. Cowger summoned. She "recovered in about a half hour but still suffers some from the {effects of the shock. —Monticello Democrat.
