INHUMAN PARENTS NEAR WOLCOŢ.
The father and mother of little Annie Fox, of near Wolcott, have been bound* Over to the circuit court on the charge of inhuman treatment-of the little child, who is notiyet,Bryears of age, If seems that the little child lives one and one-half miles from Woland attends the town school. OfMl day last week she fainted soon after school took up and when examined by the teacher her body was found to be braised in many places. She did not regain consciousness until a doctor was summoped. Then she related a pitiful story ofher parents cruel treatment. On .that morning they had ordered her to separate a,cow; and calf, and the could not accomplish the task. He father had then ptrack her across wrist with a stick, almost breaking her arm. A constable at once went to the hotpse and arrested-the parents and the Justice of the Peace decided too much % a justice’s court and bound .them over to the circuit court in the sum ot 8200 each which was furnished^ •Hie little child was found to be literally coveied with hruisea from former whippings. Girls In the high school secured a home for the little one, where she is receiving the first kind treatment she had ever had. The parents offer the weak ex* cuse that the child w.as incorrigibleThis seems impossible in one so youbg and furnishes no excuse for such wrath-controlled punishment Good citizens of Wolcott were enraged almost to the point of lynehing th&. brutal, father, and mother.
