DREDGE DIPPER THROWS ROCK.
All skepticism about the large Sternberg dredge handling the rock in the river channel has faded away in view ot the fact that the huge dipper has been throwing out the rocks as readily as it did the soft dirt and considerably better than it did the clay hardpan that imme diately preceded the rock. It is a sight worth seeing to ob serve the monster dipper as it majestically raises from the channel with its load of limestone washed clean as it is rushed thru the water and dumps it with a loud crash on the bank. The dredge is now directly south of town, just below the Granville Moody property, occupied by J. K. Davis.
