PROGRAM OF COMMENCENENT WEEK.
The closing of the Rensselaer public schools is a matter of county wide interest, for many of our hijh school students and always several of our graduates are from substantial homes in the where the value of our excellent school system and the successfat start it has given so many people In life is appreciated to thejlullest extent . The class this year numbers 3?L four more than last year, and is, from all information obtained by watching other newspapers ot the state, somewhat the largest class graduated in any city in the state up to 10,000 population. The first of the week’s program begins Friday evening, when the class day exercises will be held at Christian chnrch. This is by invitation ouly. the claims of the large class for relatives and frie ad* being sufficient to fill the auditorium which will seat from seven te eight hundred.

Kindig Music—A Day on the Water, Chouis Commencement Address Dr. William A. Quayle Music—Brooks Shall Murmur Chorus Presentation of the Class •_ , Presentation of Diplomas Mr. C. W. Coen Music—Processional Benediction —..Rev. J. C. Parrctt Dr. Quayle is pastor ot the St James Methodist Episcopal charch of Chicago. He was formerly of Indianapolis, where several Rensselaer people have heard him preach. He will be entertained here by Edward P. Honan and wife. Admission to the commencement 25 cents.
Tuesday evening at the Armory is the Janior reception and on Wednesday evening in the same ball is the Alnmni banquet, where gather the graduates of former years to extend the glad hand of welcome and congratulation to thia splendid class of 1907. Both of these events are quite exclusive, the Juniors having invited some outsiders, bat the alumni event including none but former graduates aod members of the new class. With the memorial sermon occurring Sunday morning, and next Thursday being Decoration Day, an entire week of educational and patriotic festival is at hand, Saturday being the only day not included in the program.
