Next Coldest April On Record.
Washington, April, 30. —The month ending today was the coldest April in the last twenty-six years and within a degree of the coldest April every experienced, according to the weather bureau. The bureau’s report following: “The month was characterized by a succession of cold spells which swept the southeastward over the northeast Rocky mountain slope and gradually spread southward and eastward over the entire county east of the Rocky moan tains. The cold was almost continuous except for brief interval of a day or so of warmer weather and it dosed with remarkably low temperatures in the interior valleys and the sonthwest:”
