Crop and Weather Summary.
The Indiana section of the Weather Bureau sends out the following general summary ot crop and weather conditions for the lasi week in April: While the weather was somewhat changeable, and the'temperature continued below normal, the conditions were, as a whole, mon nearly seasorable than those ot the preceding week The mean tern perature was 51 degrees, whieh i.abont 7 degrees lower than the sea sonal average, bat about 6 degr< es higher than the mean for the week ending April 22. Freezes were reported from northern and northcentral counties from the 23rd to 27th. Precipitation was general on the 23rd and 25th, 26th, except in a few northern localities, where none occurred until the 25th. Over the northern and west central counties the amounts were, as a rule deficient, being generally less than one-half inch; the fall was in excess of the normal and, with a.few exceptions / n the ex treme south, exceeded 1.50 inches, the greatest amount occurring in Jennings and Dearborn counties. Some snow fell with the rain in the. extreme northern counties on the 25th. There was an absence of storms, and about the normal percentage of sunshine prevailed.
