J. F. Irwin is in Chicago today, on business. Mrs. Anson Cox went to Chicago today for a week’s visit with relatives. Myers, the Parr hotel man is engaged in improving his property there, having raised the roof, made three additional rooms, and remodeled the house thruout.

The Old Honesty Wagon Works, at Maywood, Ky., have , ordered and had shipped to them today, one of Lute Hemphill’s Old Honesty horse stocks. 'He also sent out another set today, to pretty nearly the opposite point of the compass from Kentucky, this other set going to Rock Lake, N. Dak., to Fielder & Thomas, who were former residents of this county and know from personal obsei vance jost what they are getting when they buy Lute’s stocks.

Andrew J. Sheffer and wife and Chas. Sheffer, of Farr, will leave there m a few days on an overland trip to Valisca, lowa. Mrs. Sheffer’s poor health causes her hosband to plan for plenty of out door, life and they have accordingly rigged up a covered living wagon and will rough it for several months. They expect to start Saturday of this week and to take their time camping, fishing and hnnting, not aiming to reach their destination before the middle of October.
