Calls Story of Adam A Myth.

A dispatch from Richmond. Ind., hvs the following concerning a Methodist preacher, well known here, he having formerly been located iu Lake county: “Declaring that the story of Adam is a myth and that the Bible is a very embarrasing book, because of its many contradictions, Rev. C. Tinsley, a Methodist pastor of Youngstown, caused a seusatiou among the orthodox members of the faith at Rushville tonight. Mr. Tinsley lectured before literary organizations ou “The Mode, n View Point of Religion” and his argument agieed with the view of scientists. He said this w.is the day of science, that the breach between the church and the educated was widening, and that the old methods and view-point would not answer.
