Rutherford Removes The Bridges

The county commissioners held a special session Monday, to let the contiacr for removing the Robinson, or Gangloff, bridge, and tbe Padgitt bridge, to let the St* rnberg dredge pa'-sthiu, and*to replace them after it has passed. Only one bid was submitted, which was by Firman Rutherford, of Rensselaer, and to him the contract was awarded. The bid on the Robinson bridge, which is much the larger of the two two, was $456, and on the Padgitt bridge, $144, making S6OO for the two. Mr. Rutherford began work on the Robinson bridge the same afternoon.
